On March 4, 2021, our business conducted the Orbital Welding Test for Stainless Pipe at the Hyundai Samho Heavy Industries yard. Automation of shipbuilding design parts has piqued the interest of HSHI management and related departments, which is thought to be part of their efforts to maintain their reputation as the nation’s most efficient in LNG ship construction. This is due to the rise in orders for LNG ships and the growing difficulty in finding skilled welders. I’ve only considered automatic welding up to this point, but I’m hoping that this chance will lead to a significant shift in the shipbuilding pipe industry.
